To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Cuban victory against the US-backed invasion at Playa Girón (Bay of Pigs) this April, the Cuba Solidarity Campaign are hosting this special blog, organising a free public meeting, and sharing pictures and resources.
Bay of Pigs 50th Anniversary Public Meeting
Once in a lifetime opportunity to hear Comandante Victor Dreke Cruz, a Bay of Pigs veteran on the 50th anniversary of the Cuban victory against the US-backed invasion. He also fought with Che Guevara in the Congo, and is Vice President of the Cuba-Africa Friendship Association.
